Curiosity against inherited rules

Marti lives in Talini Village in the past of Ambulis. He calls himself a naturalist and follows a method of thinking he has developed on his own. He wants to examine the truth behind the stories that others accept.

His adoptive father Rubin is both the village head and a Forest Guardian. Rubin preserves the traditions that have protected the community, while Marti wants to test them. Rose, Rubin’s daughter, grew up alongside Marti like a sister and often looks after him.

The ancestor behind a later generation

The official character page identifies Mayaca as Marti’s descendant. The pair links the past and present of the same region, without establishing how many generations separate them.

Marti’s self-confidence is an interesting contrast with the weight his reputation places on his descendant. The game has not yet shown the whole story behind that reputation. Their biographies establish the relationship, while leaving the events connecting their lives to be discovered.

Japanese voice actor

Marti is voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (諸星 すみれ) in the Japanese cast. The official game site also lists English voice audio. This entry does not assign an English actor without a published cast credit.
