When does Eternal Anima come out?

The September 9, 2026 publisher announcement gives a worldwide release date of March 4, 2027. The North American official website also displays that date. Eternal Anima has not yet been released.

The current Steam page is different: the version retrieved on September 10 displays March 3, 2027. The available pages do not explain this discrepancy. Use the date and availability shown by your own storefront when planning a digital purchase; an exact worldwide unlock time should not be inferred from the announcement.

Which platforms are announced?

The announcement names Nintendo Switch 2 specifically. It does not announce a version for the original Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4. The PC release is listed for Windows; the current materials do not establish native macOS or Linux support.

Physical editions and the Switch 2 cartridge

Marvelous USA announced Standard and Limited physical editions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. It also states that the Switch 2 physical release includes the full game on the cartridge. That statement concerns the announced North American physical product.

The edition comparison lists the announced US prices and Limited Edition contents. An announced product is different from current retailer stock: check the official product selector for live purchase availability.

PC requirements and language support

The Steam requirements section currently specifies a 64-bit processor and operating system, but does not provide a final CPU, GPU, RAM or storage specification. Steam Deck compatibility is not yet established by the retrieved store listing.

The official Japanese website lists Japanese and English voice audio. It also lists interface text in Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean. Regional storefront lists can differ during the pre-release period; consult your intended store before purchase.

Is this Project Life is RPG?

Yes. Marvelous identifies Eternal Anima as the project first teased under the working title PROJECT LIFE is RPG in 2023. It is a new RPG rather than a remaster of an older game. Our project history connects the early title with the September 2026 reveal.
