What is in the Limited Edition?

  • A physical copy of Eternal Anima for your selected platform.
  • A two-disc soundtrack.
  • An art book.
  • Nine character art cards with a display stand.

The difference in the announced US price is $30 above Standard on either platform. The listed extras are physical collectibles. The announcement does not describe an exclusive gameplay advantage from choosing the physical Limited Edition.

Is the full game on the Switch 2 cartridge?

Yes, for the North American physical version described by Marvelous USA. The publisher explicitly says the game is fully on cartridge. That is a useful distinction for buyers comparing physical formats.

The statement does not establish that future patches, optional downloads or other regional releases will be identical. Read the packaging and retailer listing for the exact product you buy.

Which edition fits your plans?

The Standard Edition is the straightforward choice if your main priority is the game itself. The Limited Edition is aimed at players who want the soundtrack and printed art materials alongside it. Those are buying preferences, not a ranking of the game experience.

Choose the platform before comparing prices. The Switch 2 physical editions each have an announced price $10 above their PS5 equivalents. That difference is separate from the $30 step from Standard to Limited.

What about digital editions and pre-orders?

The official North American site lists Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe in its product selector, while the announcement says more digital details will follow. This physical comparison does not assign the Limited Edition’s collectibles to Digital Deluxe.

Open the official retailer selector to check the currently available products for your country and platform. PC players can use the Steam listing. See the release guide for dates and the current Steam discrepancy.
