A survivor of a lost civilization

M.O.S. is described as a mechanical being built long ago on a continent that developed through magical energy. After a long interval, the automaton is raised from the seabed and starts operating again. The official Japanese biography names that continent ロタラ.

Its introduction creates a direct link between ancient technology and the people now salvaging the sea. Unlike an account recorded in an object, M.O.S. is a surviving creation of that earlier civilization.

Where M.O.S. fits into the story

The character is grouped with Port Azurea on the official world page. That settlement lives with the results of a sunken world: residents recover relics, rebuild useful objects and try to survive beyond the White City’s authority. A reawakened automaton belongs naturally within that setting.

The official introduction does not identify its age in years or a family connection to another character. It also does not provide a detailed class or skill list for M.O.S. Our generation map therefore keeps its survival across eras separate from the explicitly stated ancestor–descendant relationship in Ambulis.
