Life on the Forbidden Sea
Port Azurea is a floating settlement of castaways living on the Forbidden Sea. The people there face threats from nature and monsters, but make their own lives from drifting materials and relics recovered underwater.
The contrast with Urvis Ael is practical as well as political. Instead of preserving an unchanging society, the port’s residents reuse, repair, study and explore. Its introduced cast includes people whose roles reflect those activities.
The people who keep the port moving
Azurea leads the settlement and commands the trust of its strong personalities. Neria heads its exploration team, while Eri studies science and history. Florus works as a salvager; Marsh is a blacksmith who repurposes recovered objects; Samolus is a fisherman known for philosophical observations.
M.O.S. provides a different connection to salvage. The automaton was built in an earlier civilization, raised from the seabed and reactivated. The official biography does not state that a particular named resident personally recovered it.
A doorway to the wider adventure
The official media shows the cast gathering aboard ships and a settlement built from connected platforms and structures over the water. It gives a sense of the port as a meeting place and a base for people looking beyond their immediate surroundings.
Salvaged relics also echo the broader progression idea of Psychometry: objects can preserve knowledge from another age. That thematic connection does not mean that every piece of salvage in Port Azurea grants an ability or begins a named quest.
